Everything you need to know about The Order — membership, The Trial, governance, fees, and more.
There are three recognised paths to membership. All require a formal application — none guarantee admission.
Complete The Order's online IQ and aptitude assessment. Candidates who meet the qualifying threshold submit a formal application. Passing The Trial is sufficient — no endorsement from an existing member is required.
A member of Paladin rank or above may personally sponsor your candidacy. Their endorsement replaces The Trial. The sponsoring member takes personal responsibility for your character and alignment with The Order's values. Sponsors are limited to two new candidates per calendar year.
If you hold, or have held, a position of significant authority — CEO, founder, senior executive, high-ranking official, recognised investor, or equivalent — you may declare this in your application. If The Order accepts the declared standing, The Trial is waived. The Order may also issue direct invitations to individuals of known distinction.
Regardless of path, all admissions conclude with The Oath and the payment of the first annual membership fee, locked in at the rate applicable at the time of admission.
The Order has five tiers, each with a distinct annual fee and level of governance influence:
Higher tiers represent greater commitment, deeper trust, and broader influence — not merely a larger fee.
Voting power reflects a member's rank and depth of commitment:
| Tier | Vote Weight |
|---|---|
| Knights | 1 |
| Sentinels | 3 |
| Paladins | 10 |
| Grand Masters | 30 |
| Supreme Grandmaster | 100 |
When a member is promoted, their new vote weight takes effect immediately.
The Supreme Grandmaster may exercise a veto, which can itself be overridden by a 75% supermajority of Paladins and Grand Masters combined.
