Why We Exist

The Order of the Knights Vanguard was born for those who seek more than personal success — they seek a legacy that transcends time. Guided by the timeless principles of the ancient brotherhoods that shaped civilisations, The Order brings that tradition into the modern era with uncompromising rigour and merit-based governance.

At its core, The Order is a community where individual drive shapes something larger than any one person can build alone. Each member contributes their vision and voice to something that will outlast them.

This is more than a network — it is a movement. Membership is not purchased; it is earned. And once earned, it is a bond that endures.

How to Join

Three Paths to Membership

The Order does not recruit openly. Admission follows one of three recognised paths — each designed to preserve the calibre and character of the brotherhood. No path guarantees admission. All require a formal application.

The Trial

Prove Your Intellect

Complete The Order's IQ and aptitude assessment. Most candidates do not meet the qualifying threshold. Those who do may submit a formal application. No endorsement is required — passing The Trial is proof enough.

The standard entry route. Open to any candidate willing to be tested.

Senior Endorsement

Earn a Sponsor's Trust

A current member of Paladin rank or above may personally sponsor a candidate's admission. The endorsing member assumes full responsibility for the candidate's character and alignment with The Order's principles.

Sponsors may vouch for no more than two candidates per year.

Distinguished Standing

Be Recognised

Individuals of known distinction — founders, executives, and figures of significant professional standing — may be considered without The Trial. The Order also extends direct invitations to those it deems worthy.

All claims of standing are verified. False declarations result in immediate removal.

All paths conclude the same way: formal application, review by The Order, and — upon acceptance — The Oath and the first annual membership fee.

How We Operate

Governance of The Order

The Order is governed by its members — not by a board or a single authority. Strategic decisions belong to the assembly; councils prepare and advise.

Councils Advise

The Order's councils — Admission, Treasury, Experiences — prepare dossiers, evaluate proposals, and organise votes. They advise and facilitate; they do not decide.

The Assembly Decides

Every strategic and constitutional matter is decided by a member vote. Tier-weighted voting ensures influence is proportional to commitment — but every member has a voice.

The Constitution Guides

The Order's Constitution defines its principles, governance rules, and mission. It is a living document — members may propose amendments, which require a supermajority to pass.

Voting Power Distribution

The voting structure balances inclusivity and leadership. The brotherhood's collective voice always outweighs any single rank — including the Supreme Grandmaster.

Promotion is immediate: When a member is elevated to a new rank, their voting weight updates at once. Rank reflects genuine contribution — not how long you have been a member.

Suspension rule: Members who are more than 60 days overdue on their annual fee are suspended from voting rights — but retain their membership status and basic access. Voting rights are automatically restored upon payment.

How Governance Works

Submitting Proposals

Any member can propose initiatives — treasury allocations, strategic partnerships, or community projects. Proposals go through a 7-day discussion period before advancing to a vote.

Knights: 5 Knight endorsements or 1 Sentinel
Sentinels: 3 Sentinel endorsements or 1 Paladin
Paladins+: No endorsements needed

Weighted Voting

Votes are weighted by rank. Higher-tier members carry more influence — but cannot override the will of a unified brotherhood. Every voice shapes the collective vision.

General: 50%+ majority
Critical (treasury): 66% supermajority
Leadership: 75% supermajority

Transparency

All governance decisions, treasury transactions, and voting outcomes are recorded and accessible to members. The Order operates with accountability as a non-negotiable foundation.

Members may vote to transition governance on-chain for maximum verifiability — a decision that rests with the brotherhood itself.

The HONOUR System

HONOUR is the engine of progression within The Order. It is earned through meaningful contribution and spent to advance your rank and unlock privileges.

Earning HONOUR

Governance Activities

Voting on proposals, submitting initiatives, endorsing candidates, or contributing to deliberation within The Order's governance.

Community Engagement

Mentoring fellow members, attending events, contributing valuable insight, or actively building The Order's community.

Strategic Contribution

Supporting Order projects, driving initiatives forward, or contributing expertise that strengthens the collective.

The Constitution is the foundation of The Order of Knights Vanguard — a living document that defines its principles, governance, and mission. It is yours to uphold, and yours to improve through your vote.

A Living Document

The Constitution is not fixed. Members may propose amendments, which are debated and voted upon by the full assembly. The Order evolves with its members.

Principles Over Rules

The Constitution establishes principles of decentralisation, accountability, and ambition — not bureaucratic rules. The Order trusts its members to govern themselves with honour.

Full Transparency

The Constitution is available to all members. Prospective members may request a copy as part of their application process.

Membership, Not Investment

Knights Vanguard membership grants access to community benefits, governance participation, and exclusive opportunities. It does not confer ownership, equity, or guaranteed financial returns.
